Program Committee Update
The Program Committee has hit the ground running on planning for the 2024 conference, supporting our theme of Authentic Leadership. Based on popular demand, we will be bringing back our Skill Lab offerings next summer, where Ridgers learn from the expertise and experiences of other Ridgers in smaller group settings. If you have skills or trainings related to our theme that you’d be willing to share, please be on the lookout in the coming months for the BRI Skill Lab RFP. We are excited for the return of these peer-to-peer opportunities to learn and grow together!
Volunteer Opportunities
No matter your interest, there is a committee right for you! Our Retention, Recruitment, and DEIA committees are actively recruiting volunteers. See the list of committees below and contact the chair to find out how you can serve!

| Activities | Rich LaPratt | This committee is responsible for planning the conference activities and the president’s ball. Meets the 4th Monday of each month at noon. |
| DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Accessibility) | Mike Young and Brittney Frazier | This committee oversees BRI DEIA work, crafts the BRI DEIA statement, and coordinates DEIA Skill Labs. |
| Development | Britney Sink | This committee is responsible for fundraising and sponsorships. |
| Marketing | Dave Parker | This committee is responsible for updating the website, posting on social media, and sending the Behind the Scenes eNewsletter. |
| Program | Susan McGrath | This committee is responsible for the conference program, program book, program schedule, and coordinating all speakers. |

| Retention | Tom Menard | This committee works with the Strategic Engagement Committee and focuses on the retention of members attending the conference, as well as members’ participation throughout the year in recruiting new members, fundraising, and BRI service. |

| Strategic Engagement | Edward Perry | Along with the President and the Board of Directors, this committee assesses strategic initiatives, contributes to vision for moving initiatives forward, sets goals, and monitors progress toward goals. |
| YLA (Youth Leadership Academy) | Sean Bryant | This committee is responsible for Youth Leadership Academy, including the program, schedule, and activities. |
